Hey everyone!
Please feel free to post any comments or suggestions about your items from last week! I welcome suggestions, feedback, and recipes!
Please have orders in by Sunday night. I'm going to visit my sister in Richmond this weekend, so we shall do Sunday order deadline and Tuesday pickup from now on. I think week days might work well for most folks anyways with travel and all. If not, shoot me an email or text (814.873.2580) and we can most certainly work something out. Once more, all things are $4 unless noted.
This week you can order:
Sandwich Loaf (French, Honey Whole Grain <wheat and oat> ($5), Rosemary, Avocado + Sunflower ($7), Maple Walnut ($6))
Round Loaf (French, Honey Whole Grain ($5), Rosemary, Avocado + Sunflower ($7), Maple Walnut ($6), Thyme, Sage, Garlic, Onion)
Flatbread (Rosemary, Garlic, Thyme, Sage, Plain)
French Baguettes (Your choice/combo: Rosemary, Thyme, Sage, Garlic, Plain)
Strawberry Rhubarb Pie ($12)
Rosemary Shortbread Sheepies ($2.50; available in quantities of 6 cookies)
Lavender Shortbread Sheepies ($2.50; available in quantities of 6 cookies)
I'm getting the whole wheat flour from Eats, the Oat Flour (Bob's Red Mill) from Kroger, the rosemary and lavender either from the farmers market or my plants, thyme and sage from my plants, garlic from Kroger, strawberries from the farmers market or Oasis, rhubarb from my Grandma Madoline, and the honey from a beekeeper who lives about 45 minutes away from my house in PA.
Would anyone be interested in pierogies (potato-cheese filling) or even ravioli ( ricotta-asiago-basil filling)? I can make them from the same type of dough. My Grandma's Czech, and she taught me well :) Let me know and I can look up some prices for you guys. Also, I'm planning on heading up to PA for the 4th of July and could probably hunt down some Pennsylvania maple syrup if anyone's interested in that, too. There's at least 2 maple syrup "farms" within an hour of my house.
Thanks!!
What's a LARABAR recipe?

ReplyDeleteThey're this really minimalistic and delicious bars, mostly made of dates and dried cherries and really basic ingredients. I was thinking about trying to make some.
I would like 2 orders of rosemary sheepies and a round loaf with rosemary and thyme please.
ReplyDeleteAha, I will be leaving town next Wednesday, so I'd better not order any bread this week. However, I would love an order of lavender sheepies.
ReplyDeleteIn the future, I would VERY interested in both pierogies and ravioli. :)
Sooo good! First and foremost - pierogies and ravioli are a sure buy!
ReplyDeleteFor this week, I'd please like a honey whole grain sammich loaf, an order of baguettes (1 rosemary/sage and 1 plain), and an order of lavender sheepies. Thanks so much, you're awesome!
